Social Responsibility

CORDIA treats Corporate Social Responsibility as a main concern in all its actions. We all work together as a strong team in order to encourage initiatives that protect the people, employees, society, environment, and our planet and to create a positive impact on the society in which we live by putting our company’s values into practice and being close to our fellow citizens and the environment. CORDIA develops its activities having the people and the environment in mind.

For the people:

Greece Race for the Cure

On Sunday 2th of October, CORDIA participated for the 2nd time in the 12th Greece Race for the Cure, which is organized by the Panhellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer called ‘Alma Zois’ (Leap of Life).
The participation this year was truly praiseworthy! Thousands of women and men of all ages, even toddlers in strollers, and dogs accompanying their owners, ran and walked for this cause from all over Greece since this year it was also possible to support the cause digitally. White and pink T-shirts filled the streets of the city, sending a strong message to all these women fighting Cancer.
Race for the Cure® is a global institution, with a presence in 150 cities and over 1 million participants worldwide! It is a step towards informing and raising universal awareness about Breast Cancer.
With this participation, CORDIA family joined forces and became a strong fist in order to support these women and to convey a message of life, strength, fortitude, perseverance, and hope!

Making a contribution to Kallithea Nursery

Every day, we are exposed to extraordinary situations in our personal and professional lives, and we are required to show patience, perseverance, hope and faith. In this context, CORDIA and its employees donated food and personal protection and hygiene equipment to the Kallithea National Model Nursery during Christmas 2021 in order to contribute to the work of the Nursery and help their fellow citizens.

CORDIA supports the fire-victims in Mati

CORDIA expresses its sadness and support to the victims of the ravaging fires in Attica, which took place in Mati region on 23th of July 2018. The massive participation of all the citizens of our country to assist them in these difficult times was remarkable. Our company and its employees were engaged into similar initiatives as a minimum token of solidarity to our fellow citizens.
Following the instructions given from the Municipality of Rafina (in cooperation with the Red Cross), CORDIA made its donation in order for medicines to be purchased.
At the same time, CORDIA employees, wishing to contribute to the solidarity initiative, collected money which were used for the purchase of shoes for the Lyreio Children’s Foundation, as well as cleaning materials, stationery, and sanitary items, as suggested by the Municipality of Rafina.

For the environment:

At CORDIA, having Corporate Social Responsibility as our main priority, we place the environment at the core of our decisions.
