CORDIA supports lifelong learning and promotes expertise to the next generations of technical professionals

At CORDIA, energy management and comprehensive technical support for critical infrastructures are our team’s top priority. Since 2000, we have not only managed critical energy and technical infrastructures but also supported lifelong learning and shared our expertise with the next generations of technical professionals (e.g., electricians, refrigeration technicians, mechanical engineers, plumbers). Our commitment to education and innovation highlights the leadership profile of our company and strengthens our position in the market.

As part of our initiatives, we were pleased to collaborate with the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) to host students from the 1st EPAL of Nea Smyrni at our facilities. This allowed students the opportunity to experience modern technologies and systems applied in real-life installations. The visit was not just a simple presentation, but an immersive learning experience where students actively participated, asked questions, and understood how critical energy and electrical systems function in practice.

During the visit, students had the chance to explore and learn about:

  • The structure of the medium and low voltage network of the SNFCC
  • Medium voltage fields and switches
  • 20,000V/400V step-down transformers
  • Low voltage fields and distribution panels
  • DEH/HZ switching fields
  • The 800kVA generator set
  • The HZ control automation panel
  • Automatic extinguishing systems
  • The facility’s BMS system

This experience provided students with a unique insight into how technology contributes to energy efficiency and safety in large facilities such as the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC). At the same time, students asked questions about the professional profile of modern technicians, market requirements, and in-demand skills. We also discussed employment opportunities in the energy and building infrastructure sectors, highlighting the prospects available for those choosing the technical field.

At CORDIA, we believe that investing in the education of young people is as important as investing in technological infrastructures. We plan more actions and collaborations to enrich the knowledge and skills of future professionals. Our goal is to continue leading the industry by investing in people, technology, and innovation.

  • Since 2017, CORDIA has continued to passionately support one of the most emblematic projects in Greece. We thank the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) for their trust.
