Pilot project as part of BuildOn programme – VOLVO SARAKAKIS

Overview of the project

Through the European Horizon programmes, specifically as part of the BuildOn programme, and in partnership with the Sarakakis Group for the use of a Volvo showroom as a pilot project, we implemented three basic pillars, the recording of energy consumption, the recording of data of an environmental nature, and finally, the recording of the operating conditions of the central air conditioning (CAC) unit, as well as its management. The aim was to save energy in the showroom, always guided by the optimisation of the thermal conditions inside the showroom and the workspaces.

Services

  • A consultancy service aiming to find the optimal points and loads of interest
  • A study of the requirements of the European programme, the client, and the premises themselves
  • Electrical and mechanical installations
  • Configuration of a platform to successfully receive data, display it, and review correct statistical data and indicators, as well as set rules for more efficient operation of the CAC.

Advantages for our clients

  • Access to consumption data via a computer or mobile with internet access
  • An analytical report of consumption at all points of interest, which makes it possible to:
    • have an overview in real time and draw conclusions,
    • create energy reports for a specific period,
    • create rules and receive alerts in cases of irregular or unforeseen operation,
    • automatically operate the air conditioning inside the showroom.
  • A record of the data on air quality inside the showroom and workspaces, which makes it possible to optimise conditions, in order for workers to be happier and improve efficiency
  • The possibility to use a digital twin of the premises as a derivative of the programme.
